Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, person-centered care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility safely and respectfully
Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff promptly
Accurately document care given and maintain clear, timely records
Support a clean and safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with the care team to deliver consistent, high-quality resident care

Qualifications

Current state CNA certification in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or able to obtain
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to pass required background checks, TB screening, and immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively within a care team

Education

High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of resident care principles and safe lifting/transfer techniques
Familiarity with infection control practices and PPE use
Basic charting and documentation skills
Effective verbal and written communication with residents and team members
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
Teamwork mindset and willingness to learn from nursing staff
