Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) while preserving dignity
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Document care and communicate observations clearly to the nursing team
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to support care plans

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required) — must be in good standing
High school diploma or GED preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB test per facility policy
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Previous experience in long-term care or acute care is a plus

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care skills and safe transfer/ambulation techniques
Ability to take and accurately record vital signs and observations
Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
Good documentation and time-management skills
Teamwork mindset and strong interpersonal skills with patients and families
Comfortable following care plans and reporting changes to clinical staff
