Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities
Assist patients with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
Measure and record vital signs and observe changes in condition
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
Document care accurately and promptly in patient records
Support family members and provide respectful patient advocacy

Qualifications

Current CNA certification or active enrollment in an approved CNA program
Authorization to work in Pennsylvania and ability to pass background checks
Current CPR or BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with patient handling, transfers, and basic clinical tasks
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Dependable, punctual, and committed to patient-centered care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and activities of daily living
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Basic charting and electronic documentation comfort
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate bedside manner and attention to detail
