Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Monitor residents’ condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Assist with activities of daily living while preserving dignity and independence
Document care accurately and clearly in resident charts and care plans
Work collaboratively with the care team to implement individualized care plans
Support a warm, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

Current CNA certification required (must be valid in Pennsylvania)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Clear background check and ability to pass facility onboarding
Comfortable with hands-on patient care and routine lifting/transfer tasks
Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented; prior long-term care experience a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
Good communication skills with residents, families, and clinical team
Basic charting/documentation skills and attention to detail
Understanding of infection control, safety protocols, and HIPAA principles
Ability to follow care plans and take direction from nursing staff
