Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support nursing staff with patient transfers and positioning
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient chart
Observe and communicate patient condition and care needs to the team
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
Build trust and rapport with patients and their families

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Active, unrestricted state registry status
Willingness to complete a background check and health screenings
Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude
Previous experience as a CNA preferred but new grads welcome
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential per PA requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and basic clinical skills (bathing, dressing, ambulation)
Competence in taking/recording vital signs and observing changes
Good communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting with empathy
