Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe and comfortable patient transfers and mobility
Help maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
Assist with feeding, toileting, and personal hygiene while preserving patient dignity
Participate in care planning and follow established protocols to ensure quality care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Recent experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar patient care setting preferred
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Practical knowledge of patient safety and infection control practices
Skillful in observing and documenting patient status and changes
Ability to perform personal care tasks with compassion and respect
Good teamwork and communication skills with interdisciplinary staff
Basic understanding of mobility assistance and safe transfer techniques
