Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate with the care team
Follow infection control procedures and facility safety protocols
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Pennsylvania) in good standing
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with direct patient care and physical tasks
Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
Prior experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vitals, ADL assistance, documentation
Infection prevention and standard safety practices
Strong observation skills and ability to report care needs
Compassionate bedside manner and resident-centered care
Teamwork, reliability, and time-management on busy units
