Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Take and document vital signs and report changes in patient status
Assist nursing staff with mobility, transfers and safe patient handling
Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in the care environment
Accurately document care and communicate clearly with the care team and families
Support a positive patient experience by treating residents with dignity and respect

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in good standing (appropriate for Pennsylvania practice)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Clear background check and drug screening as required by the facility
Ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care and work as part of a team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL assistance
Taking and recording vital signs
Infection control and safety practices
Clear communication and teamwork
Basic charting and documentation skills
