Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; exact start/end times and days to be confirmed with the facility (schedule provided upon hiring)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, feeding, and toileting in a respectful manner
Take and record vital signs accurately and alert nursing staff to any changes
Document care and observations clearly and promptly in resident records
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, residents, and families to promote coordinated care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania required
High school diploma or GED preferred
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with resident mobility
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but new grads encouraged to apply

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
Ability to take and interpret basic vital signs
Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
Strong interpersonal skills and resident-centered bedside manner
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
