Shift Type: Per diem, 8-hour shifts; schedule varies (days/evenings/nights as needed), non-guaranteed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, putting dignity first
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in resident charts
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Collaborate with nurses and care team members to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification for Pennsylvania (required)
CPR/BLS certification required or must obtain upon hire
Previous CNA experience preferred, but enthusiastic new grads are welcome
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Reliable, compassionate, and a team player with good communication skills

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic resident care
Comfortable taking vital signs and observing/reporting patient changes
Strong interpersonal skills and a resident-first mindset
Basic documentation skills; experience with electronic charting is a plus
Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks on shift
Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
