Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts (total hours no break: 8). Specific start/end times and assigned days to be confirmed with scheduling team

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Perform routine clinical tasks accurately and document care in the chart
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Assist with clean, comfortable living environments and infection control practices
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) in good standing
Completion of facility onboarding and any required competency checks
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Reliable, compassionate demeanor with good communication skills
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility health requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe resident handling
Strong observational skills and accurate documentation
Familiarity with infection control and resident safety protocols
Ability to work effectively in a team and follow care plans
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
