Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Support residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Active authorization to work in Pennsylvania (state CNA requirements met)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to perform the physical tasks of the role and provide safe patient handling
• Clear background check, drug screen, and relevant immunizations as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) and bedside patient support
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Comfortable with basic patient observation, vitals, and reporting changes
• Good documentation skills and the ability to work with electronic/charting systems
• Teamwork, communication, and a calm approach in busy care settings
