Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT and CT diagnostic imaging with contrast to deliver accurate diagnostic studies
• Prepare, administer and manage radiopharmaceuticals while ensuring safe storage, handling and disposal
• Start and maintain IVs, monitor patients, and ensure comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols to protect patients and staff
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting (Epic preferred) and document procedures thoroughly
• Float to support sister facilities (Westwood, Santa Monica, Encino, Santa Clarita) as needed to meet patient care demands
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment (Siemens familiarity preferred) and escalate equipment issues appropriately
• Uphold safety and regulatory standards while collaborating with the care team

Qualifications

• Dual Nuclear Medicine and CT/X-ray license required (dual-license is critical)
• Minimum 1 year PET/CT experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) required
• Preferred certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT N, NMTCB, CNMT, PET certification
• State X-ray license preferred as applicable
• Experience with Epic charting and Siemens equipment is a plus
• Ability and willingness to float to multiple facilities as requested

Knowledge & Skills

• PET/CT imaging techniques and nuclear medicine procedures
• CT diagnostic imaging with contrast
• Safe handling, storage and disposal of radioactive materials
• Starting and maintaining IVs and patient monitoring
• Isolation precautions and proper use of PPE
• Familiarity with Siemens imaging systems
• Clinical documentation and charting best practices (Epic preferred)
• Strong patient communication, professionalism and teamwork
