Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and scrub in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Operate and maintain GE Innova imaging equipment and ensure readiness for procedures
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in Meditech and MacLab
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field, instruments and supplies for special procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs and tech staff to coordinate efficient patient flow
• Respond quickly and calmly during emergencies and on-call activations
• Educate patients and families about peri-procedural expectations with compassion and clarity

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT certification required; RCIS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or related interventional setting
• Demonstrated competence in special procedures and operation of GE Innova
• Experience with Meditech and MacLab documentation systems
• Strong teamwork, critical thinking and adaptability for frequent on-call duties

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, stents and angiograms
• Proficiency in scrubbing techniques and sterile processing for interventional suites
• Hands-on experience with GE Innova imaging systems
• Familiarity with Meditech and MacLab electronic charting
• Ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing on-call demands
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for a close-knit Cath Lab team
