Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Flexible shifts including 8-hour (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM), 10-hour, and 12-hour options with mid shifts starting at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM; weekend and holiday coverage provided by call rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each procedure
Assist surgeons during a wide range of cases including total joints, general, vascular, and spine surgeries
Maintain sterile technique and support the surgical team throughout every operation
Collaborate with the OR team to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment
Handle CVOR cases such as CABG, valve procedures, pacemakers, and lung surgeries with precision

Qualifications

Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures required
Proficiency with Cerner Surginet EMR system preferred
Ability to take call including 1-2 weeknights per week and one weekend per month
Comfortable working in a facility that handles trauma and complex surgical cases

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in scrubbing for orthopedic, vascular, neuro/spine, ENT, and trauma procedures
Familiarity with Phillips Telemetry monitoring systems
Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Ability to adapt quickly to various surgical specialties and case types
