Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional respiratory care to adults, pediatrics, and neonates across the facility
Manage ventilators and high-flow oxygen therapy using Hamilton and Vapotherm equipment
Perform arterial blood gases and EKGs to support accurate patient assessment
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists to deliver life-saving interventions
Assist with intubations and respond quickly to changing patient needs
Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and equipment use

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential with Kansas state license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Comfortable working with adults, pediatrics, and neonates

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and high-flow oxygen delivery
Arterial blood gas sampling and EKG performance
Patient assessment across all age groups
Hamilton ventilator and Vapotherm equipment operation
