Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across MS-Tele and specialty units
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities, adapting quickly to new teams and patient populations
Administer medications including heparin drips and monitor patient responses
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care
Support patients recovering from cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, and general surgeries
Maintain accurate documentation and respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to various units

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across telemetry and medical-surgical patients
Comfort with floating to Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Ability to titrate heparin drips safely
Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and fill scheduling gaps as needed
