Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start with variable end times, plus rotating call coverage including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $98 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons as the first assistant during complex orthopedic, robotic, neuro, and GYN procedures
Provide expert support during total joint replacements, robotic hysterectomies, spine surgeries, and vascular cases
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes across multiple specialties
Float between campuses as needed to support surgical services throughout the facility
Respond to call within 30 minutes to provide critical surgical assistance when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license with RNFA certification required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong experience in ortho, robotics, neuro, and GYN surgical specialties
Robotics experience is essential for this role
Ability to scrub and assist in the operating room setting

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records system
Experience with DaVinci robotic surgical systems
Knowledge of orthopedic, neurosurgical, gynecological, and vascular procedures
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to adapt to varying case lengths and scheduling needs
