Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units providing compassionate, high-quality care
Manage titratable drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to patient changes
Care for geriatric, orthopedic, and post-cardiac cath patients with attention to detail
Collaborate with charge nurses and nursing assistants to deliver seamless patient experiences
Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while maintaining excellent standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience
Comfortable managing multiple titratable drips and interpreting dysrhythmias
Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts before contract start

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
Titratable drip administration and monitoring
Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to float between MedSurg Tele and PCU settings
Comfortable using CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high-flow oxygen equipment
