Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across MS/Tele and specialty units
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support staffing needs and deliver excellent patient outcomes
Administer medications including heparin drips and monitor patient responses
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Adapt quickly to various units including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Ortho, and Trauma
Support patients through post-surgical recovery, medical management, and specialty care needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to various patient acuities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across multiple specialties
Experience with cardiac monitoring and drip titration
Comfortable floating between MS/Tele, PCU/Stepdown, and low-acuity ICU holds
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and adapt to changing assignments
