Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse mix of medical, surgical, and telemetry patients
Interpret telemetry strips and respond quickly to cardiac changes
Collaborate with the care team to support patients recovering from surgeries like hip and knee replacements
Float to Multi Care Unit and Pediatric areas to care for adult patients when needed
Precept and mentor nursing students to help shape the next generation of caregivers
Manage care for patients with conditions ranging from COPD and pneumonia to alcohol withdrawal

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience, telemetry experience preferred
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts
Willingness to care for both MST and PCU level patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry interpretation skills
Comfort managing patients on stable CPAP or BiPAP
Ability to float between units and adapt quickly
Experience with common medical-surgical diagnoses and post-op care
Team player who can precept students when needed
