Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform thorough decontamination of surgical instruments and equipment
Assemble instrument trays with precision and attention to detail
Execute proper sterilization techniques to ensure patient safety
Handle scope reprocessing following strict protocols
Support the OR team including GI procedures with reliable sterile supplies
Prepare for upcoming da Vinci robot procedures with specialized equipment handling

Qualifications

Current CRCST certification required
BLS certification needed
Experience in sterile processing department preferred
Ability to work within a 60-mile radius of Garden City, KS
Must be available for weekend and holiday call with 30-minute response time

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of decontamination processes
Knowledge of assembly and sterilization standards
Familiarity with scope reprocessing procedures
Attention to detail in maintaining sterile environments
Ability to work with various surgical specialties including ortho, general, gyn, and GI
