Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips with confidence each shift
- Provide compassionate care for patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-cath recovery
- Support patients through total joint replacement recovery with specialized protocols
- Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to deliver seamless patient care
- Float to East Campus or PCU when needed, showcasing your adaptability and skill
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience reading basic telemetry strips
- Some background with CVA and TIA patients
- Cerner experience recommended for quick onboarding
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Total joint replacement care protocols
- BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatment support
- Diltiazem/Cardizem drip management at set rates
- Patient ratios of 1:5 with strong teamwork support
