Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead clinical teams as the working supervisor in Med-Surg and the ER, ensuring safe, effective patient care
• Provide hands-on nursing on nights while coordinating unit staffing and patient flow
• Actively triage and prioritize patient needs during high-acuity periods
• Support and mentor nursing staff, offering coaching and on-the-spot education
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to streamline handoffs and documentation
• Ensure compliance with policies, clinical protocols, and required certifications

Qualifications

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (current credentials required)
• Experience as a working supervisor or charge nurse, comfortable splitting time between Med-Surg and ER
• Comfortable and experienced with 12-hour night shifts and block scheduling
• Please submit any OB/Newborn Stabilization education or training you have received

• Strong Med-Surg and Emergency Nursing clinical skills
• Leadership and team coordination during night operations
• Triage, rapid assessment, and acute care prioritization
• Effective communication and documentation in fast-paced settings
• Ability to mentor staff and handle unit-level decision making
