Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a 15-bed LDRP unit
Monitor and interpret fetal strips to ensure the safest outcomes for mom and baby
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin with precision and care
Float to Med-Surg and ER as needed, showcasing your adaptability across the hospital
Collaborate with CNAs and the care team to deliver seamless, high-quality patient experiences
Follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics to support excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips independently
Strong critical thinking and adaptability to change

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin drips
Critical thinking and quality metric adherence
Meditech EMR experience
Philips telemetry monitors and Traceview/PIP EFM system
Ability to float to multiple units and adapt quickly
