Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Days: Saturday and Sunday; Nights: Friday and Saturday), block scheduling available when requested

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert LDRP care for patients 33 weeks and above in a high-volume birthing center
Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence and skill
Assist with baby catching and newborn transition while ensuring optimal outcomes
Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips to support maternal and fetal well-being
Function across Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, and Postpartum units with adaptability
Collaborate with 24/7 OB anesthesia, OBGYN hospitalists, and NNPs for seamless care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
No first-time travelers accepted

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing with high-risk pregnancy experience
Titratable drip management including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
C-section circulation and baby transition expertise
AWHONN staffing guidelines knowledge (1:2 L&D, 1:3-4 couplets)
Centricity Perinatal EFM system familiarity
Ability to function in postpartum with routine mom and baby competencies
