Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, accurate external beam radiation treatments including IMRT and SRS for adult patients
• Operate and learn/maintain treatment units such as Elekta Synergy and Elekta Infinity
• Perform imaging and verification workflows (CBCT/kV/mV) and respiratory gating for precise treatments
• Document thoroughly in Epic and perform chart checks to ensure treatment integrity
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, safety precautions, and device usage
• Participate in emergency cases and follow isolation precautions/PPE protocols when required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (Radiology, Respiratory Services, Social Services) to optimize patient care

Qualifications

• ARRT (T) required
• BLS required
• Minimum 1 year radiation therapy experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Active state licensure required at time of submission (pending licenses not accepted)
• Willingness to float between like units and work collaboratively across clinics
• Able to meet RTO requirements at time of submission

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiation Therapy fundamentals and Radiation Safety
• External Beam Therapy, IMRT, SRS and SBRT workflows
• Experience with Elekta Synergy / Elekta Infinity treatment units
• Mosaiq and C-RAD familiarity
• Simulation and treatment planning basics, including compensation filters, custom molds and wedges
• CBCT/kV/mV imaging and respiratory gating techniques
• Patient/family teaching, lift/transfer devices and care of patients in restraints
• Charting, chart checks and billing awareness for treatment types
