Location: Redwood City, California
Start Date: 06-08-2026
End Date: 09-07-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday depending on weekend needs, with a compensatory day off during the week
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional physical therapy care across acute care, ICU, and med-surg units
- Deliver specialized treatment for orthopedic and total joint patients
- Manage therapy for ventilated patients in the ICU setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Evaluate and treat a diverse patient population including cardiac surgery and oncology cases
- Document care using Cerner EMR system
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in California
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
- Strong background in orthopedics and total joints
- ICU and ventilator management experience preferred
- Cerner EMR experience a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Acute care physical therapy across multiple hospital units
- Orthopedic rehabilitation and total joint protocols
- Ventilator management in ICU settings
- Cerner electronic medical records system
- Cardiac surgery patient rehabilitation
- Oncology patient care experience
