Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 06-01-2026
End Date: 08-31-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM shifts, one weekend every third weekend with Monday and Friday off
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional physical therapy care to acute inpatient patients across medical-surgical, ICU, and ER units
- Help patients recover from surgeries like TKA, THA, spinal procedures, and manage general orthopedic and neurological conditions
- Collaborate with an amazing interdisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans
- Make a real difference in patients' lives as they work toward recovery and independence
- Mentor and guide patients through their rehabilitation journey with compassion and expertise
Qualifications
- Current California PT license required
- BLS certification needed
- Acute Inpatient PT experience is essential
- Strong clinical skills in treating general medical, deconditioned, and post-surgical patients
Knowledge & Skills
- Acute inpatient physical therapy expertise
- Experience with post-surgical orthopedic patients
- Comfort working in fast-paced hospital environments
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to individual patient needs
