Roles & Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and receive specimens including blood, urine, and body fluids for analysis across all laboratory departments
• Perform complex laboratory procedures while recognizing and correcting any deviations from expected results
• Analyze quality control data and take appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision
• Answer inquiries regarding test results, methodology, and factors that influence outcomes
• Review instrument indicators and temperature monitors to ensure optimal laboratory operations
• Participate in evaluating new techniques and procedures while writing and revising technical protocols
• Maintain self-competency in laboratory skills and support overall laboratory initiatives

Qualifications

• CLS or MT (ASCP) certification or equivalent required
• New graduates must pass certification exam within 6 months of start date
• Minimum 2 years of experience in laboratory settings
• Strong proficiency in Epic required
• Active state license required
• Experience with phlebotomy included in role

Education

• Bachelor's degree required (Associates Degree accepted for grandfathered personnel)
