Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
Collaborate with a dynamic OR team to ensure smooth case flow and patient safety
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and expertise
Serve as a reliable resource during call shifts, providing timely support when it matters most
Float within Zone 1 facilities when extreme needs arise, showcasing your adaptability

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Proven experience in Trauma and Neuro within the operating room
Charge nurse experience is a plus but not required
Epic EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of OR protocols and sterile technique
Ability to handle high-acuity trauma and neuro cases
Comfortable working in a fast-paced 16-suite OR with 30+ cases daily
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Quick response time within 30 minutes for call
