Shift Type: Sunday-Thursday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate psychiatric care to patients in a medical setting
Monitor and document patient behavior and mental status throughout each shift
Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to support individualized treatment plans
Administer medications and assist with therapeutic interventions as needed
Maintain accurate records using Cerner and other electronic health systems
Support patients through orientation, training, and daily care activities

Qualifications

Current LPT license in California
Strong communication and behavioral observation skills
Experience with electronic charting and patient documentation
Ability to complete required trainings including nursing orientation, Cerner, and point-of-care systems

Knowledge & Skills

Psychiatric care and behavioral health support
Patient charting and documentation
Electronic health record systems like Cerner
Medication administration and safety protocols
Team collaboration and clear communication
