Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic CT and X-ray studies using established protocols
• Operate and troubleshoot GE imaging equipment including CT and radiography systems
• Document imaging procedures accurately in GE PACS, Meditech and Clario
• Collaborate with ER nurses, physicians and security to ensure patient safety and timely care
• Provide compassionate patient positioning and communication to optimize the patient experience
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control and unit-specific policies at all times
• Maintain required documentation, equipment cleanliness and supply readiness

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certifications required
• Able to perform both CT and X-ray studies independently
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (as indicated in the posting)
• Comfortable working nights and able to float to the main hospital when needed
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced ER imaging environment
• Familiarity with GE imaging systems and PACS/Meditech/Clario documentation workflows

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with GE Revo Maxima CT, GE XR AMX Navigate and GE Definium Tempo Pro
• Experience using GE PACS, Meditech and Clario for image management and documentation
• Solid understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
• Radiation safety principles and patient positioning techniques
• Good communication skills for interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks in an emergency/FSER environment
