Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with scheduling team

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care consistent with LPN scope of practice
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor and document vital signs, condition changes, and resident responses
Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
Maintain accurate, timely charting and communicate effectively with families
Follow infection control policies and facility procedures to keep everyone safe

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license in Connecticut (or eligible for state licensure)
Current CPR/BLS certification (or able to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable administering medications and performing standard nursing procedures
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass background and health screenings per facility policy

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic nursing assessments
Charting and documentation (electronic medical records familiarity is a plus)
Infection control and safety best practices
Reliable time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
