Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care for med/surg and pediatric patients
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes or emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
• Document clinical care and patient progress accurately in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Missouri, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing and Pediatrics (experience in both is a strong fit)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ACLS a plus
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts and adapting to scheduling needs
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required (BSN preferred when available)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and monitoring for med/surg and pediatric populations
• Medication administration and IV therapy skills
• Pediatric care considerations, including dosing and family-centered care
• Accurate documentation and familiarity with electronic health records
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under pressure
• Collaborative approach to working within an interdisciplinary care team
