Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts — exact start/end times and specific days to be confirmed (facility operates in Eastern Time).

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents with dignity and respect
Administer medications and treatments accurately according to orders
Perform timely and clear documentation in resident charts and electronic records
Collaborate with nursing team and leadership to develop and follow care plans
Monitor resident conditions, report changes promptly, and escalate when needed
Assist with activities of daily living to promote comfort and independence
Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license (eligible to practice in Pennsylvania)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — obtain or maintain as required
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Comfortable working 8-hour clinical shifts in a long-term care setting

Education

Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing (LPN) or equivalent vocational training

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and accurate charting
Wound care basics and vital signs monitoring
Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation best practices
Infection control principles and safe patient handling
Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy care environment
Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
