Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Variable 4-hour shifts (specific start/end times and days to be determined) — OT shifts; includes orientation

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized occupational therapy plans
Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills and independence
Set measurable goals and track patient progress with thoughtful documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care
Educate patients and families on strategies and adaptive equipment to support long-term success
Participate in orientation and training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Current California Occupational Therapist license (or eligible to obtain)
NBCOT certification preferred or in progress
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
Clinical experience in occupational therapy; previous pediatric or outpatient experience is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Ability to complete required onboarding, immunizations, and background checks

Education

Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (entry-level or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

Assessment and treatment planning for activities of daily living
Skilled in therapeutic interventions and adaptive equipment recommendations
Comfortable with documentation in electronic health records
Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and family education
Time management and ability to work efficiently during short shifts
