Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in the ICU using evidence-based practice
• Assess, monitor, and document complex patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Operate and manage advanced ICU equipment and EPIC documentation with accuracy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and execute safe care plans
• Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and specialty skills as required by the unit
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans with empathy and clarity
• Maintain compliance with required screenings, immunizations, and competency exams

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nursys verification listed)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in ICU / critical care (explicit requirement)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Completion of Prime competency and specialty assessments as part of onboarding
• Current health clearance: TB, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hep B, fit testing and drug screen as listed

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC for documentation and order entry
• Strong critical care assessment and monitoring skills
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and advanced cardiac life support skills
• Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and situation awareness in high-acuity settings
• Ability to complete Prime skills checklist and specialty exams
