Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality LTAC and telemetry nursing care to a medically complex patient population
• Continuously monitor cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and carry out individualized care plans
• Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic so patient records are complete and communication is clear
• Support patient transitions of care, including coordination with families and other care providers
• Adapt to unit needs by floating to like units as requested while maintaining scope of practice
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in the assignment state (pending licenses are not accepted)
• LTAC and telemetry experience required; comfortable caring for medically complex patients on telemetry
• Experience with Epic charting (documented in the job details)
• Ability to work every-other-weekend as part of the schedule
• Willingness to float between like units to support facility needs
• First-time travel nurses are not accepted for this assignment
• Ability to provide interview availability upon submission

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) and active RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry monitoring skills and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Deep understanding of long-term acute care patient needs and care coordination
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record workflows
• Excellent clinical judgment, prioritization, and time management
• Clear communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff and patients families
