Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Perform bedside swallow studies and video swallowing assessments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across inpatient, outpatient, and rehab settings
Develop individualized treatment plans for stroke, TBI, neuro, and trauma patients
Document care using Cerner Powerchart EMR
Float to assigned areas and support patient care needs as required

Qualifications

Current CCC-SLP certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum one year of experience preferred
Experience with bedside swallow studies required
Video swallowing studies experience preferred
Trauma experience preferred
Travel experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment skills for stroke, TBI, neuro, and trauma patients
Proficiency with Cerner Powerchart EMR
Ability to manage up to 9 outpatient or 13 inpatient patients per day
Comfort working with cognitive impairments and swallowing difficulties
Flexibility to float between assigned areas
