Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours total, includes every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate exceptional patient care for adult and occasional pediatric patients on a dynamic Med/Surg unit
- Lead a talented team of professionals to meet the unique needs of a diverse patient population
- Apply the innovative Nursing Process to make critical, compassionate decisions
- Deliver holistic care that addresses age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs
- Collaborate closely with the Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and Nursing Supervisor
Qualifications
- Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure required
- BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification required prior to start
- Minimum 3 years of acute care experience
- Meditech experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for adult and occasional pediatric patients
- Ability to coordinate comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care
- Comfort working in a 25-bed critical access hospital setting
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records a plus
