Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff
Help create a warm, home-like atmosphere for residents
Support residents with meals and ensure proper nutrition

Qualifications

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Current CPR certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate approach to elderly care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of geriatric care principles
Knowledge of infection control practices
Ability to follow care plans accurately
Strong observational skills
Patient and empathetic demeanor
