Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate drips to keep patients stable
Provide continuous EEG monitoring for adults and geriatrics
Collaborate with the care team to manage cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetic patients
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed to support the broader hospital team
Deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced 35-bed PCU environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and drip titration expertise
EEG monitoring experience
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude and willingness to help others
