Surgical Tech
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM; 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (weekends only)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
- Assist surgeons during a variety of cases including robotics, ortho, neuro, and general surgery
- Maintain sterile technique and support patient safety throughout each procedure
- Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced environment
- Float to different specialties as needed to support the department and gain new skills
- Respond to call shifts and provide reliable coverage for urgent cases
Qualifications
- Current CST or NCCT certification required
- BLS certification required
- ND UAP registration required
- At least 1 year of OR experience in either Ortho/Neuro or General/Robotics
- Experience with DaVinci Xi, ION Robot, or Stryker towers preferred
- Willingness to float and cross-train in additional specialties
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
- Comfortable assisting with robotics, total joints, spinal fusions, and general cases
- Ability to respond quickly during call shifts within 15 minutes
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude toward floating and learning new skills
