Location: Tacoma, Washington

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, standby as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients across multiple med-tele units
Monitor and record vital signs to support patient safety
Assist with activities of daily living and mobility needs
Perform PIV and foley catheter removals with attention to detail
Support EKGs and other clinical tasks as assigned
Float between St. Joseph Medical Center and regional hospitals as needed

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Washington
Experience with vital signs and med-tele level of care
COVID vaccine required
Ability to float between multiple facilities in the region

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Comfort working with diverse patient populations including cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical cases
Flexibility to adapt to different units and patient ratios
Attention to detail in documentation and patient care tasks
