Roles & Responsibilities
- Help patients regain independence through meaningful daily activities
- Collaborate with occupational therapists to implement personalized treatment plans
- Support residents in improving strength, coordination, and mobility
- Document progress and communicate updates with the care team
- Create a positive, encouraging rehab experience for every patient
Qualifications
- Active COTA license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach to patient care
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and therapeutic techniques
- Ability to follow evidence-based treatment plans
- Team collaboration and documentation proficiency
