Location: Salida, Colorado

Start Date: 07-13-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Tuesday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM plus call rotation (including weekdays and weekends)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgeries, maintaining a sterile field
Monitor patient vitals and ensure safety throughout the perioperative process
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for optimal outcomes
Prepare operating rooms and equipment, and assist with patient positioning

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado or a compact state
Minimum 3 years of experience in surgical nursing
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and ATT certifications required

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
