Location: Bismarck, ND

Start Date: 07-27-2026

End Date: 10-26-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to adult and geriatric patients on a telemetry and PCU unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret strips independently
Titrate critical drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, and more
Collaborate with charge nurse and techs to manage a ratio of 1:4-5 patients
Float to PCU or MS as needed to support team and patients
Document care using Epic and ensure accurate patient records

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU and telemetry experience
Proven ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
EPic experience preferred but okay for first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac care knowledge including drip titration
Proficient in telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Experience with common cardiac diagnoses and treatments
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
