Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse adult-geriatric patient population in MS-Tele units, including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Monitor and titrate heparin drips as needed
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 3 (Denver metro area) to support staffing needs
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different units and patient acuities, from general medical to stepdown and low-acuity ICU holds

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience required
Active and unrestricted RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Prior neuro experience preferred
Willingness to float across multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius and obtain housing accordingly

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for managing adult-geriatric patients
Proficiency in titrating heparin and monitoring drips
Ability to adapt to different unit environments and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills for floating between facilities
