Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 24/7 on-call rotation including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and mentor nursing staff in both the Cath Lab and ICU departments
Oversee pre/post procedure care and bedside procedural support, including moderate sedation
Manage patient care in a combined 11-bed unit (3 pre/post bays, 8 ICU beds)
Enhance nursing competency and build a positive unit culture
Titrate vasoactive drips and manage critical medications as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

3 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year in a clinical leadership or management role
Current ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications (CNO will consider candidates meeting most requirements)
Critical care and telemetry experience essential; Fluoro license preferred for technical staff
Ability to read telemetry strips and monitor patients independently

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac, vascular, EP, IR, and non-invasive cardiology procedures
Proficiency in managing ICU patients with cardiac/respiratory diagnoses (sepsis, DKA, STEMI, COPD)
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Comfortable with moderate sedation and vasoactive drug titration
